Oh man same! As a kid and even now, I was so stoked because HE finally had a female protag!
I dunno, I think it's good that they didn't give her eyelashes. It breaks a consistent stereotype with female character designs. HOWEVER! I personally like to draw lashes on female characters so I guess either way I woulda been happy. The fact that she's a girl is more than enough for me. <3
