In the past, I had some friends with land that encompassed several power lines similar to these. You could hear the energy buzzing through the lines when standing near the towers. It was unlike anything I’ve ever hear before. Almost on the same level as cicadas on a summer day, but in a very different frequency range.

:) yeah, the big ones carry up to 400kv 3 phase so you can get some interesting beat harmonics between lines.
