Another piece from my RP game (which I am currently hiatusing from) where I apped Ognian from Girl Genius. He was assigned Gargoyle and making the design was an absolute blast. I took influences from skinks, poorly reconstructed/interpreted fossils from the 1800s, salamanders, armadillos, and geckos. I wanted to keep his warm earth tones intact and all the little details were fun to establish, as well as accentuating his more monstery features from canon.
