Well I do hope it's something I can manage. I just can't decide on the style I want for it yet.

honestly it might be fun to tr y a contradictory/contrast style, bright and vibrant, unlike the grim and dreary happenings portrayed within it.

I was actually thinking of something similar last night. I was brainstorming, and fancied the idea of having the environment bright/colorful, when the horror elements come into play they'd be contrasted with a different sketchy style. Or I could take it further and have the horror elements also be bright/colorful. It'll take some concept work from me to see how I'd feel about it. I love working with bright color, and working with a dark grimy style, so either way I'll be happy lol

also if you're doing a long themed story comic I highly suggest having some unrelated side "cutoff stories" that totally still have a purpose in the story but give you a "not right now" button to press when you're tired of arting something in specific pertaining to the short term plot. Done well, these can often add a ton of depth to story as long as they have an eventual, but pre-determined place in the eventual main storyline.

Oh man hahah that sounds like even more pre planning and work for me. My "not right now" button is me shifting focus to a different story for a while. I have many stories. And many characters. So I jump around when the mood strikes me. The long term comic I want to do isn't something big and seriously detailed anyways. Just something fun I might do.
