Every parent does this with their toddlers/ younger (usually under 6) kids, swinging them up in the air while walking.
Yeah, I seriously miss carnivals and fairs too, especially with kids. Though we allowed them to do the kiddie rides when they were under 6. But the carnie food and the promotions pavilions were always worth it!
