a little bit of explanation a did a while ago. A little bit of what's going on with me lately and why i haven't exactly been myself nor been posting much. I use twitter more often cause it's a better distraction. still. might give you an idea on why i've been silent and why it might not change too soon.

As someone who's never known "me", I can relate to this quite a bit.
Would never say my core is rotten, as regardless of my failures I know who or what I am not.
In the end, it is indeed a mental state, but don't ever think you have to deal with it by yourself due to the self-doubt. You're in a society, people are here to help and support. You just have to find the right people.

Been there, done that, kept trudging on. Got tired at times, wanted to quit, kept going. Eventually I found the light for my own core (I refer to mine as my beast) to be happy and refreshed. This world is tiresome but now I just stay a burning fire. Thank you for sharing your 'bad state', though. I'm sure it'll help others to relate too. I hope everyone finds their footing.
as much as this is quite a clever turnaround comment, i have to admonish you about something. mental health, when in bad condition is a very fragile thing and on another day this comment would probably make me feel a lot worse than it did today. let me explain it shortly.
a dog is far less complicated creature than a person and most of the time being around and joyful is not enough to solve a problem. not every dog is therapeutic and as much as i love him as a pet, he is part of some deep problems i have. my dog is on its own therapy and i am alone in making him do better, sacrificing parts of myself to do so, if i may. dogs are different than humans and every dog is different from another. as much as i appreciate the gesture before you write such a comment in the future, please make sure you know what the person stands on and if it's safe.
i'm sorry if this offends you (or anyone reading this) in any way, but wrong advice can do more harm than no advice.
