A monster that has lost the soul of a person who was infected with Noah virus and could not become a Beast Rancer.
It is based on the modeling of insects and has a fearsome appearance.
Usually blend in with society as a human being (mimicking the appearance of a human figure) and at that time live the same life as when it was a human.
Perhaps due to the imitating instinct, they behave as they did as humans, but their soul is completely lost. They attack people in a specific cycle and increase their number. Beast Rancers and "matchers" who have the appropriate genes for Beast Rancers are natural enemies to them, and therefore have the habit of instinctively attacking when they found them.
There are only two methods of distinguishing a Shift Rancer from an ordinary human being, "to cause fatal injury on them" or "to check the taste of the body fluid". It is possible to return to the original human being by destroying the Noah virus in the body, but the method is unknown.

虫の造形をベースとしており禍々しい姿をしている。
普段は人間として社会に溶け込んでおり（人間の姿に擬態化している）その際は人間だった頃と同じ生活をしている。
擬 態化する本能が働くためか、行動や言動は人間時の頃と同じ振舞いをするものの、魂は完全に失っており、特定の周期に人々を犯し個体数 を増やしている。ビーストランサー、及びビーストランサー適正遺伝子を持った「適合者」は彼らにとって天敵であるため、見つけると本能的に攻撃を行う習性 を持つ。シフトランサーと普通の人間を識別する方法は「致命傷を負わせる」か「体液の味を確認する」の2つの方法のみ。体内のノアウイルスを駆逐することで元の人間に戻る事が可能だが、その方法は不明。
