A while back,
Swaggy bought this character from
Cleit which originally was created by
Jen but Swag was missing inspiration for him and gave me the lead as i was pretty much liking him as well so say hello to the new farmhand Tristan! He seems like a good boy, laid back and chipper. I might have some fun with him in the future :3
(This is an old artwork, made by
Jen. The ownership of Tristan currently belongs to me)
Background:
It all started the day he was born. This day would be the one welcoming a white newborn. As always after a birth, this event brings joy and festivities, during when the name of the newborn is decided. The ritual happened near the river, when the young foal is dived into the river, and pulled out with the name. That day, he was baptized Tristan.
Tristan grew up with his family, all happy and living in a healthy lifestyle. But as he grew up he wanted to discover the world, explore the horizon and see where life would take him. During the following years, he met up with someone he would respect as a close friend and a good mentor. From him, he learned new experiences and lessons his parents and family never taught him before.
One day, he felt the calling again. He was grateful of all the lessons and his hospitality. He packed his stuff up, thankful of so many good years, and took the road again, without really knowing where he would land.
Few days passed in the fields, crossing villages, forests, plains, deserts, and even mountains, but none of these spaces felt like home for him. Some were nice, and friendly but none felt welcoming enough. Someday, as he was walking in the middle of a dense forest, he heard some strange noises a short distance away. Curious, he decided to carefully discover where it came from. His mind suddenly frozen out when he sighted a beautiful Stallion dismounting a mare. Tristan didn’t have time to react before the couple was splitting up, both walking their own way. He had to make a choice on whom to follow and after a quick consideration, he began to follow the Stallion’s trail, thinking that a male rarely walks alone.
He soon caught up as the horse was standing next to a river bank as he leaned down to drink some of the fresh water. Seeing this as a perfect occasion to engage conversation, he sat next to him and scooped up some water in his hands to drink. Spending some time with the stallion, he found out that while he could not understand what the stallion was trying to say, he could feel that his intentions were pure. He followed the stallion as he led him back to his world, where his herd was standing temporary, and invited him to spend some time with him in their company.
Days passed, and it was nice. Living in the middle of the herd and spending time with other equines eased the little tickle in his heart that was looking for a home but something was still troubling him. Sillion noticed the small worry in his mind, wondering if there was a way to help him out, in a way or another. Tristan answered with honesty, sharing his concern. The Stud completely understood and started walking, looking behind to see if Tristan was going to follow. Sillion was leading him towards a farm where one of his *very* close friend was living.
Soon enough, they both arrived at the place named Banana Stable, where they were welcomed well by few members of it, by both horses and half-horses like him. They both had a look around, getting every explanation and details about it by their hostess, a zebra mistress by the name Zeana. Tristan felt his tickle becoming a sparkle in his heart, feeling like this farm was everything he wanted but didn’t know if they were looking for more farmhands. The destiny was well made when he looked at the horses' smiling faces as he asked about his potential place here. Luck would have it that they were indeed looking for new helpers and Tristan was happy as he had found a home and a group he could call his family.
Here we are, few years after, mainly concerned for his permanent good mood and his willing to do well. He wasn’t the strongest horse, but he wanted to do a lot, which was appreciated by the rest of the stable as they finally found someone to work on some few specific tasks.
