And we’re back to another transitional page. We’ll get back to the bigness soon-ish, promise. But hey, at least we’ve now got Gullet’s parents confirmed to be in existence. Huzzah. A few TL notes to tide you over to the next part follow, but thank you again to everyone who continues to support this story:
• “Guy-er-maid” comes from me mispronouncing the Irish name Diarmaid (not Dire-maid, but Dear-muhd).
• Easterferd is a corruption of Eisteddfod (Uh-sted-fuhd), a Welsh festival that celebrates… well, Wales.
• Daenerys was popularised by the television adaptation of Game of Thrones, but is a portmanteau of the Korean 대 dae meaning ‘greatness’, and the Welsh nerys, meaning lord/chief.
• Mytherforde is a portmanteau of the Northern England slang mither (pronounced my-fer, meaning annoyance/to be annoyed) and ford, a variant of the Anglo-Saxon word for “shallow river crossing”: it’s a common place name suffix in England.
• Wyverne is obviously a riff on wyvern, a dragon-like creature (characterised by only having two legs and wings, rather than four legs and wings) but Port Ddraig’s name comes from ddraig, the Welsh for dragon.
• Yukonly is a riff on UK-only because geoblocking gets on my nerves.
• Sarah-Elizabeetle Wardrobe is a reference to Sarah Elizabeth Wardroper, the first senior figurehead of what is nowadays called the Florence Nightingale Faculty of Nursing and Midwifery, and matron of St Thomas’s Hospital (a working-training hospital as part of King’s College University, London)

So: Is that really Gullet's family? Or are those "actors" hired by the evil corporation to keep an eye on him and keep him under control? =0
Also: If they ARE his family. Does that mean he is a mix between Irish & English Draconic heritage? ^^
And gosh, I hope things will work out for him and that those truly are his real parents and will comfort him and give him the love and care he needs to face what happened when him memories return (which is highly likely from how things look)... ='(
