Yeah... that closed hole shit usually happens due to the fact that I still only have ONE pegboard. So I have to do all my sprites in sections and end up having to re-iron over certain areas just so they connect together. Not to mention that some beads melt faster than others. It's a fuckin' nightmare! But thanx for the advice.
Oh yeah dude, I went through that hell- here's a tip that may or may not help you!
You can usually iron the initial pieces of the sprite VERY lightly..just barely enough to hold them together. That will Assure that when you DO have to re-iron, you won't burn anything that badly. Also, move left to right, and don't look back. Iron one piece of the sprite, then move to another, but don't backtrack.
Or, to make things a little easier..iron the back of the sprite first. That is..if you have a physical sprite in front of you (in Photoshop, paint, whatever), flip it horizontally before you bead it. That way, the first side you iron is the backside. You can then iron the living shit out of it, fuck it up all you want, then slip it and nicely iron the 'presentable' side.
