This is basically The New Dogryme. Again. He doesn't have a dark form anymore, but he has the ability to, at will, morph any of his limbs into a collection of Vitri-Oil coated tentacles. He usually uses this for extra reach or to grapple an enemy and really mess them up.
In this case, he's using his Tentacles to clear a difficult jump. The wolves of Dacutter Island wouldn't be able to make this leap!
It always helps to have a little extra reach, eh?
Dogryme has that Mutation ability because of the consequences of Fluff Dragons experimenting with Life Force and all of them getting overexposed to it. This is how his comes out.
