Drew an Ettin woman for an encounter I'm planning on throwing at my players. Wanted to make an Ettin npc that would allow me to have fun with the separate personalities of the heads. Idea so far is an ettin came across a hombrewed magic item that I labeled "Band of Average intelligence". It bumps up their intelligence to a 10 but only for that head, even so it's enough to make them give more thoughts to their actions. The more brutish head learns to follow the lead of the smarter head as its ideas help them in the long run. I also decided to give them class abilities, brutish head is a barbarian with rage and reckless attack while the smarter head is a druid capable of wildshaping them into a two headed bear.
