The latest in my 'photo-op' series features me and anthroartist MistaBlista of Miami-Dade County, Florida. And BTW, I am NOT standing in a hole; he is THAT tall!

We'd first met in 1995 (a little over a year after moving to the 'Sunshine State'), when he was part of a group of friends that included other anthroartists like Adrienne 'Ozzy' McCain and Ruben 'Rags' Rodriguez. Said group would congregate for all sorts of events in south Florida, such as "Calle Ocho" (the giant block party in the 'Little Havana' section of Miami), and Funimal and I would join them.

Eventually in time, the group would split up and go their separate ways. ('Ozzy' now lives in Tampa, FL [and has a Facebook site], while 'Rags' got married, had two kids, and the whole family relocated to Connecticut.) But MistaBlista remained in Miami, where he still lives with his family, and still manages to find the time to draw some of his unique artwork for "Fur Affinity" (among other places).

We get to hang out together (once in a great while) at various other south Florida events - like the "Miami Book Fair", where he took the picture of me with Terry Jones and Douglas Adams. (Look a few pages into my 'Scraps' section for that photo.) And we still keep in touch via phone and E-mail...
