Oh? Did you just offer Shasta a belly rub? Or perhaps a nice fresh homemade pie to eat? Or maybe you just invited her into your home for a rest and a conversation?
Well whatever it is, you certainly have Shasta's attention, and her gratitude!
I like to imagine that Shasta lives like a Greek god in a couple ways. No not in the 'living on top of a mountain throwing thunderbolts at people' way, but more in the. . .
'She beneficially affects the farmland around her, making it extraordinarily fertile, and the crops large and ripe, and so she is worshipped by the locals. However she isn't hard to find. Often times she will just be taking a stroll through the village, stopping by someone's house where they will offer her a nice warm meal and some company for a few hours, until she departs again. It could happen to anyone, and she is great company with plenty of great tales to tell! However if you don't treat her with hospitality, your crops may suffer next year. . .'
