Commentary for February 20, 2019:
This is where the advantages of a “real” comic over a sprite comic really shine. There’s only so much emotion you can cram into a face derived from Sonic Advance sprites. But with this kind of comic, the only limit is your skill as an artist. I’m not going to pretend I’m a Tracy Yardley! or an Evan Stanley, but I’d like to think my art’s got better over the years, and I am quite proud of the emotion I’ve been able to show here. It’s strange how the first full on ugly cry in Eon’s World Vol. 2 (and possibly in Eon’s World, period?) is coming from a character who has typically been the poster girl for insincerity. Well, maybe there was a reason for that.
