Craddock brings to you the latest and greatest in alpine EXTREME sports, Avalanche Racing!
When inside his own territory, Craddock can be quite the thrill seeker! Always finding ways to push his limits while he's in his element. And he has recently found one of the most exciting ways to test his ability in avalanche racing!
All it takes is flying to the top of a ridgeline after a big snowstorm, finding a suitable cornice, and giving it a good WHACK with his tail, and taking off IMMEDIATELY down the hill at full speed! If he's lucky, he will start a sizeable avalanche!
Craddock rarely gets the opportunity to truly run at speeds like these! With the proper motivation, he can reach speeds far beyond anything he could recreate under normal circumstances. And more often than not, he can indeed outrun the wave of snow!
But don't worry about those times when he can't. If things get clearly out of hand he always has his wings to fall back on, allowing him to bail out to the skies at any time. And even in the worst case scenario, if the snow buries him before he can react and fly away, he always manages to burrow himself out, no problem! After all, no amount of snow could ever truly hurt an ice dragon with such excellent thermal control!
Best of all, a successful race carries many benefits!
Craddock gives himself a proper workout, reaches exhilarating speeds, and even stabilizes the slope for skiing in the future without having to worry about further avalanches! But most of all it's just plain fun, as there is no greater opponent than mother nature herself!

You're right! Generally closer to the bottom of the slope Craddock will find himself running through trees and around rocks! However thanks to his experience skiing through such terrain he's become quite adept at finding his 'line' through it all! And luckily these things also slow down the avalanche a bit, giving him time to maneuver!
