"I have seen and done...things. Things that were not meant to be seen by mortal eyes. Part of me wishes I would have never seen them. Yet in the end I did not run from them because I knew it would make a stronger person."
“Kanpai.” Raising her cup of sake up to no one in particular to toast, Whisper quietly sipped on the cool beverage, letting it linger in her mouth for a moment to savor its sweet taste. It had been a long time since she had treated herself to some Ginjo; however, due to her surplus of funds from her missions as of late, she decided to treat herself to a nice drink for a change. Nodding in approval at the server, she then stepped outside to sit on the porch and take in the evening air- that and she wanted to be left alone with her thoughts, as dangerous as that might prove to be.
Tired, so very tired.
Part of her wanted to go to sleep right then and there, but she had some business to take care of first.
For the last few days she had been on a killing spree: so many kills, so much money. But at what cost?
She reached in her pocket, pulling out a large, brown leather coin purse, filled to the brim with coins. She had more than enough money to go months without having to work if she wanted to. But who was she fooling? She could never do that. Shuffling the purse back in her pocket, she took another swig of drink and listened-
The only sound that could be heard was the warm, evening breeze blowing through the trees. In the distance, the soft chiming of a windchime could be heard. Her ears softly flickered as she was filled with aura of peace. She had killed so many people in her life. Yes, they all deserved it, each and every one- she made sure of it before ending their lives. And yet…
Idly swishing the o-choko in her paw, she leaned against the creaky, old wall and reflected over her deeds and past. What made her any better than those she had killed? Not by much.
She was neither a hero, or a villain. She was just…
“I accept my fate, whatever it may be.”
Reflections. Have you ever sat or laid down and thought about random things? Your life, past choices you made, regrets…
If you have not, you certainly live a sheltered life; how I envy you.
Whisper gets that way sometimes. She has had a long, tedious week of work, and now she is mulling over her thoughts of things that could or should have been. She can’t help it; it’s the ISTJ in her; she has a tendency to overanalyze things. Lucky for her, she has a few days off to recuperate and clear her mind before she starts all over again next week.
I want to give a huge thanks to the talented artist behind this piece: cyber-Ogurchik. This guy…is phenomenal. I know, I say that about all the artists I commission, but I would really like to get him some more support. Not only does he do furry art, but humans as well!
Not to mention he is great to work with and puts full effort into his work- don’t believe me? Look at that detail he put into that fur texture! I am just amazed by the detail and work he put into this piece; and it is one of his first furry pieces too, lol.
I highly recommend working with him and watching him if you are not already doing so. Expect to see more Whisper art from him again soon-
Thank you so much again!

That's right! That's one thing I love about Whisper: she doesn't pretend to be "pure" or just in her actions: she is who she is, and she does what she has to in order to get paid and/or get revenge.
Haha, she really does! I am really surprised she has managed to escape the police as long as she has.
