As the train slowly rolled through the quiet mountainside, Whisper glanced out the window enjoying the scenery. She then looked around the train: she had been lucky enough to get a cabin with no other passengers, which made her happy as she really wasn’t in the mood to socialize with others.
Her friend had invited her to Kyoto for the weekend to get away from the hustle and bustle of their jobs, and relax for a few days. Whisper eagerly accepted the offer, mostly because she had not had the chance to travel much this year due to work and other issues going on in the country at the moment. A break was certainly needed.
As they pulled into the station, Whisper glanced down at her phone, noticing she had some missed calls and texts. Her friend had instructed her to call her as soon as she arrived at the station so he could pick her up. However, Whisper decided she rather explore the area a bit on her own and do some shopping before calling her friend. Besides, what harm would a little time to herself do? She had the rest of the weekend to spend with her friend-
As she stepped off the train, Whisper noticed a familiar figure waving at her from the platform. Wait, how did he know she was going to be in town this weekend?! With a grin, she waved back at him.
It looked as if he also had some gifts for her. Apparently her friend had sent him to pick her up (...).
Looks like it was going to be an interesting weekend afterall~
Ah, there is nothing like a weekend getaway to unwind after a long week of work right?
Whisper has not had the chance to travel much this summer (which explains the lack of beach art this year; don't worry, I plan to make up for that soon enough).
She mostly spends her weekends at home relaxing, gaming, or catching up on sleep. So when she had the opportunity to get out of town for a few days? Of course she is going to take it!
Who is the mystery person waiting for Whisper at the train station? You will have to wait and see in an upcoming adventure…

In alot of studio Ghibli movies they have what are called "filler shots" basically they are scenes that allow the viewer to take in a powerful scene that just happened or to take a breather between the storylines that are taking place, such as someone riding on a train through gorgeous scenery. Thats what this reminds me of.
