Daytona's one and only short story. I hope y'all enjoyed it.
I tried to walk the fine line between realism and fantasy (in terms of taking liberties with nature). It was tough, but I think the story sounds plausible.
I had a lot fun writing this one. It was a great break between the other two.
For all of those who can't convert imperial to metric:
1 yard = .92 meters
1 foot = .31 meters
1 mph = 1.6 km/h
