Things are a bit busy at work, so I've been able to work on art in bits & pieces here & there.
This is a work-in-progress to get the base storyline for my comic started off. Here we see the dragon character (yet unnamed) and Brewster on the phone as they're getting ready for summer camp.
This is the first time I've drawn anyone in a pose like I have in the 2nd frame. I feel like it's decent, not perfect, but not bad. It actually turned out better than I feared it would.

You're going to get tired of me saying this, but you really are improving with every piece you do. In the first panel your left arm holding the phone looks a little awkward, but I can't put my finger on why. Is the forearm longer than it should be in relation to the rest of the arm? Might be because as a dragon your ears are higher up on your head. but I love the perspective in the second panel - you got that just right.
