Craddock has shown off his smithing skills before in pictures like this one, but he has never displayed the final results of such efforts!
Well, here he is, standing tall and proud of his hard work! Craddock forges his armor with the utmost care and effort. He isn't afraid to take his time, months to complete and perfect a single set! Because after all, dragons have incredibly long lifespans, so he has the time to spare! As such, Craddock is sure to exterminate any imperfection in his designs, and ONLY the finest quality end results will he keep for himself. After all, Craddock finds more satisfaction in his own work than any pile of gold, and as such, he considers his collection of his own finest works to be his hoard, rather than all of the gold found in the mine he lairs in.
But this armor isn't just for show either! While it may make him a bit less agile, agility is not so important when in the close quarters combat required for defending his lair, or even spelunking into a dangerous dungeon or cave. So if Craddock is given any time to prepare before an encounter, he will put on his best set of armor. He is not the type to underestimate his opponents, and if armor helps ensure his own safety, further securing his victory, then he will use it every time!
Thanks so so much to
SkyboundTerror for this commission! This man does wonderful art, and he was even the one to design this set of armor! It is not the first time he has added armor to a dragon, so I knew that he was the perfect person to entrust with designing a set of it for Craddock, and I am certainly VERY happy with the result!!
PLEASE GO CHECK OUT THE ORIGINAL ON SKYBOUND'S PAGE HERE!
ALSO! Skybound was nice enough to color in the version of this piece without armor as well! So for a comparison, make sure to check out that piece in my scraps HERE!

Magical? Hmm!
Well, Craddock takes pride in his own work. He would probably prefer to be the only dragon responsible, at least for the ones he keeps in his own hoard collection, but he would absolutely be interested in a collaboration to see what they're capable of together!
