One of the things I continue to seek for "The Terran Wars" are reasonable images of the various ships. This one was requested from Louis Frank. The upper version is the original, with what appears to be extra turrets and tower on the side of the ship.

Not if you follow the original stories in The Terran Wars. Terran ships bear a strong resemblance to old Dreadnought-era warships, but with a second deck and tower (and set of turrets) instead of a keel.
The Star Hunters were provided a radical configuration by a gifted ship designer. Slightly larger than a corvette, it similarly had three turrets, but a hexagonal cross-section with each turret on a different facing. One opposing admiral compared the design to a pencil stub with guns.
