Don't let emotions rule your mind. Seir first hoped that the willow was fine, when they get her to it, but she was wrong. It was her destiny to merge with Ori to prevent the forest from falling apart.
But the ending also ripped my soul apart, but that also awoke my creativity. It was a beautiful way to show us that they wanted to make something new and finish the Ori series, thus they stay these masterpieces they actually are.

No. There is nothing beautiful about this. Nothing is right. Seir is a monstrous, emotionless manipulator, Niwen is a perpetually doomed dying land that should be left to die and evacuated.
There is nothing beautiful about this ending.
It is nihilistic, bleak, and say nothing of value. In fact, it make a total mockery of the idea of loss, sacrifice, and what it means to be a hero.

To say it your way is like to say you left a bleeding man to die and walk away with nothing for him?
This ending said to us that nothing will last forever and the time will come for them to go ,they cant stay for ever.
Just like what they said "Run ,Hide ,Destiny comes ,All the same".
But the ending had help to bring alot of creativity to so many people out there so its not that bad you think about it. It help to create the 7FF ,it help to create all the good and new things to Archive of our own and fanfiction .And i hope you understand for us all. :)

Except Niwen was not saved. The same tragedies that happened to Ori are doomed to repeat. No blow was dealt to Decay in any meaningful manner. Worse yet, Ori both became the new source of Decay (canon, by the way) and Niwen will not recover ; the Silent Woods will continue to grow.
Niwen is a sinking ship. Instead of dying for a land that can't be saved, Ori should have searched for a way to save what actually matters in it: its life.
Beside... "nothing last forever"? Then maybe it is time for this old, decayed land to pass away so that it may resettled in the future.
