For those who have read my adaption of Shield of Art, this is what Kaitlyn looked like before she was regressed, she works as a scout for the resistance, collecting intel, and surveying areas.
The look of her head fin is meant to resemble a ponytail.
Honestly, I'm kinda at a loss for things to draw recently, I don't have much ideas for new Fakemon designs, and I'm kinda finding proper situations to draw more lore stuff, so at the moment, I'm lost... Not that I don't have motivation to draw, it's just that I don't know what to draw. hmm... maybe I might consider taking the six fanarts challenge thing I've seen people do, maybe that'll give me some ideas.

Woop! I thought this was inspired by LeonXIII's tale. I like the idea of a head fin serving as a pony tail. It's adorable and makes me think of how I could adapt such concepts into my series.
Do you and Leon plan to try and combine forces to complete "Shield Of Art"? I like the idea from Leon's telling and how you are keeping it alive through your art.
I've had some additional ideas for Fakemon, but I forgot what they were when I wrote them in other posts. I'll go back through and post them in the journal for your consideration. :)
Perhaps, if you are seeking something to illustrate during this slow time, you could design Pokémon teams for you and your characters? You could also try for a seasonal theme by drawing your characters doing various summer, or winter, activities? (I apologize for not knowing where you may be located. I believe it is not in the USA and I would be unfair to assume given all the wonderful folks from around the world on here and the different hemispheres from which all are from.)

Well, not really, I found out about Shield of art after learning that it's the story Takoda, my favorite of Leon's characters, comes from, and I decided to read through the entire story, and I kinda enjoyed it, I thought it had good potential, however was kinda disappointed to learn that he stopped working on it long ago. And that some characters meant for Shield of Art like Kendra and Caius were never written
So I decided to reboot the story, rework some of the characters, expand on some ideas, and I eventually wrote a new first chapter of this series:

Overall, Leon has reacted positively to this series, and he's even considered bring the story back, although it will be a reboot and separate from my continuity.

It makes me very happy to hear how Leon's series inspired you to breathe new life into it. There are lots of ideas that, sadly, never see their full potential for a variety of reasons. It's those, like yourself, who take that untapped potential and show that the idea was good, sound, and most worthy of seeing beyond its previous limits.
I have a number of ideas that I need to finish, too. I've been so distracted with work, finances, etc. that I have been working to retool my budget and time management. I'm hoping to, soon, churn out more written works as I get my head back in order. :)
