Sometimes, nothing can beat the feeling of brisk lake waters whipping from your hair mid morning.

For about a month now I've been thinking about challenging myself with this picture, I really wanted to try a water hair whip, but felt I needed to practice before taking a crack at it (that's why there's been so much water in my other illustrations ^..^ ) but, I finally felt ready to take that challenge on. I'm overall happy with how it turned out, though I think I've still got some learning to do, and I learnt a lot doing this piece! I also wanted to try taking my own reference photos for the background and try to transpose them into the illustration this time around. Overall, not bad I'd say
