Portrait of my Centaur OC, Orion.
I went with the idea of centaurs having some fuzz/hair all across their body as to make the top and bottom part more coherent. Plus that means he's soft and fluffy everywhere and I loved painting that <3
His color is based on a roan horse as I thought that could be pretty unique for a centaur. Another point is that I tried my best to give an interesting flow to the face. With ears that accompany the shape of the jaw and a nose that curves down, reminiscent of a horse face. Also diminished the upper lip in favor of a fuller bottom one.

I hope you enjoy the take on centaurs, it's the first time that i really sit down and think about it to bring a concept to life ^^
