As the rain drizzled over her body and trickled through her long, silver hair, Whisper closed her eyes for a moment. All she could hear was the soft patter of the rain falling on the ground around her.
The rain was a welcome reprieve from the warm, muggy weather the area was experiencing at the moment. It was unseasonably warm for this time of year…not that it bothered Whisper, she was used to this kind of weather. Nonetheless it was still pleasant to get some relief-
The last few months had been a whirlwind to say the least…well this year had been rough! So much so one could feel almost an aura of hostility and tension in the air.
Suddenly, the rain started to pick up. Glancing around for the nearest shelter, she headed towards a nearby store…only to stop midway in her tracks.
Why should a little rain bother her? It was just water right…?
It was as if the sky was weeping tears of sorrow-
It felt as if the rain was washing away all her troubles, aches, and pains…it almost felt therapeutic.
This feeling would not last. But she decided to enjoy it while she could; at least for now-
“One day it WILL get better. I promise.”
Starting the summer off with a mellow piece of Whisper.
With everything going on in the world right now, especially in the States? Good grief, this world is going to hell and back. Whisper is trying her best to stay sane by keeping to herself right now. She has learned over the years that sometimes distancing yourself from others is the best way to stay safe and happy.
That and it is nice to enjoy the simple things in life: such as the smell of fresh rain! I don’t know about y’all but that is one of my favorite smells!~
I want to give a huge thanks to the talented artist behind this piece: Keumano. I have worked with them several times, and they ALWAYS do a wonderful job on Whisper! Expect more art of my girl from them later.

I also love the smell of rain! And I have mastered social distancing. It is a must in the place I'm working now... I can officially say it is toxic both mentally and physically so I'm literally doing all I can to be distant from the people around me. Also have been doing what I must to not be so used at work sence I don't use up my time talking to everyone like everyone else does. But I managed to get things right again and sat back to watch some karma today so that was nice way to end the week!

Well I'm an introvert so it's always been fairly easy for me to social distance from people! LOL. This epidemic just gave me a good excuse not to interact with them!
