Midnight the Wolf
I saw this wolf as an adopt from the wonderful
Hi-Five and decided to get him for myself! All credits go to them for the original design and this ref sheet.
Midnight is a 6'7" wolf who weighs 158 pounds and spends much of his time playing video games and just generally relaxing on his own. He keeps himself relatively skinny, often underweight, which is an easy task when his very fast metabolism is combined with the fact that he normally eats very little in the first place. He enjoys hanging out with his friends here and there, though enough of doing that can quickly tire him out. He can use magic and spends some of his time browsing various sources for new spells, whether that be the internet or old spellbooks or whatever he can get his hands on. He has a small journal which he uses as a spellbook for his absolute favorites, and a quick look can show pretty much anyone that he likes a lot of inflation spells (beyond that, he tends to work a lot with darkness/shadows). He's somewhat gullible and usually falls victim to any pranks aimed his way, and is nice enough to not seek revenge... most of the time.
Making new friends is certainly an endeavor for Midnight, as he is usually pretty shy around new people and needs time to warm up to them. He and Indy are good friends, usually playing video games with each other when they hang out. He is extremely close to Zaru, closer than Marna is to the Wickerbeast. He is dedicated to his friends, willing to drop everything at a moment's notice if they need him, and hates losing friends for stupid reasons.
He has a few mannerisms, most of them involving his big and fluffy tail, that can be a tell for how he is feeling at the time. For example, if he is happy he can't seem to make his tail stop wagging even if it is knocking stuff over behind him. Whenever he's sad, his ears lower and his tail droops straight down and often drags on the ground behind him. If he's mad at something it will often stick straight out behind him, and the same can be said for when he's surprised. One can quickly tell he's nervous, uncomfortable, or scared because he tends to grab his tail and hug it to his chest, burying his snout in it with drooping ears. Finally, for the times when he's just feeling fine, he keeps his tail up like it is in the above reference sheet.
