Solaire stirred in his bed, nuzzling into the soft warm sheets, a luxury in Lordran these days but one he had the chance to indulge in here in Anor Londo. Once again faced with the waking world, the Warrior of Sunlight stretched, his arms high over his head and his legs reaching out over his temporary bedding as the sound of a mighty yet dignified yawn echoed throughout the room.
Down below, perched in a little crevice between Solaire’s toes, was Markus, the little companion the Knight of Astora had picked up along the way. The little fellow was truly miniscule, barely a speck compared to the person whose form he admired with the same awe one would feel witnessing the Sun rising from beyond the horizon. Massive digits towered on either side of the puny human, a pleasant musky aroma wafting from them, permeating the air and seemingly the whole world around the human. And yet he didn’t mind, too focused on the majestic visage of the man he adored.
Solaire would cast a glance around the room, looking out for his petite companion with little luck. He knew Markus would turn up eventually, he always had. So instead, the knight just stretched again, giving his toes a bit of a wiggle before curling them, unknowingly compressing his tiny friend in their tight warm embrace.

DarkZeus. A bit of an experimental piece on his part and one I believe he had a lot of fun drawing. Please go check out his gallery for more similar content!
