The fate of the cursed.
The Dark Souls series has always held a particularly influential place in my head and heart. The themes within the games of despair, inevitability, unavoidable fate and pointless sacrifice, of faded glories long gone and little remaining but a slow decay and an inexorable descent into ruin and darkness have always struck an extremely strong chord with me, and has played a great role in my own creative endeavours. Never before have I encountered and played a game that had such a strong appeal and influence on me throughout so many years, and I don't know if I will ever find another like it. Perhaps that is for the best.

An absolutely beautiful commission by the talented
Sidj-6 - the atmosphere I have always imagined with the games was captured perfectly by her hands. She certainly did it justice!
