These two are characters from a story project I am working on with my good friend  RodneyTheDivineDevil The undead fellow is a lich named Ragnar Oathkeeper. He used to be a Viking in the 8th century, and was present at the siege of Lindisfarne. Some time later, he was pulled into an alien world of monsters and magic, and roped into protecting a dangerous artifact. When it became obvious that no one was coming to replace him and his death would mean the artifact was open for theft, he voluntarily underwent the ritual to be remade into an undead lich. He remained guarding the artifact for centuries, until he was finally freed by an enigmatic illithid crime lord.

The insect used to be Evelyn (Evie to her friends) a young hippie girl from the 1960s. after being attacked by a drunken mob and chased into a sewage pipe, she passed through a portal into the same alien world. The illithid crime lord saved her from being consumed by the will of the world, she was still trapped in the illithid's lair, unable to leave without being lost to the world's hunger. After years of serving as a housekeeper in the luxury casino the illithid used as a lair, she finally decided she was tired of being a weak victim. She asked Ragnar to train her how to fight, and undertook a ritual hunt to earn the right to shed her humanity and become a permanent resident of the Otherworld. She succeeded and underwent the ritual, becoming the predatory insect she is now.

Seeing how well they worked together, the Illithid assigned them to be partners, both enforcers for the Illithid's organization. They have been working together for nearly 50 years, and are the closest of devoted friends. The others in the organization know them as "R" and "V", the two best enforcers in the organization.

V has an intense sweet tooth due to her insectile biology, and she is never without some sweets on her person. She also loves to eat raw and bleeding meat. One craving is slightly cuter than the other.
