Somebody really needs to invent a camera that captures images, especially ones with beautiful natural lighting, more like the human eye does. I've seen several moonlit nights where the clouds are just thin enough and the moon bright enough that a halo of light surrounds the moon.
I've also seen sunrises and (mostly) sunsets where the beams of light breaking through the clouds are distinctly visible, a beautiful sight! But I rarely bother attempting a photo because it loses so much when captured via a digital medium.
The simplified version you've depicted here, while displayed via a digital medium on my screen, evokes the natural beauty I recall.
