So, this really happened in a D&D session: Ethan agreed to go with the group to search for plants. When rolling for nature checks, the numbers were really low, meaning Ethan is a small-brained Dragonborn who doesn't know how to find anything. So as an in-character joke, he plucks a piece of grass and asks if that counts for anything. Turns out that Ethan the Dragonborn is the brawn, but not the brains.
