Shadowlight and Bunny Hop Rescue Op. (Story in Descriptio...
Rain soaked the cold street of the busy intersection. The lights changed and the green turn arrow lit up. Two cars took their turn before a new vehicle entered the intersection. It sped just in front of the next car and continued on down the street as the sound of the car's horn echoed off of the buildings behind it.
"Slow down!" shouted a female voice inside the quickly moving car. Bunny Hop's heart was racing as she took in the quickly passing city around her. The blonde teleporting rabbit heroine was wholly out of her element here, and it showed.
"Not used to riding in cars there Hopper?" asked the male wolfox in the driver's seat. He turned a yellow eye toward the brown furred bunny girl in the passenger seat and noted how her right hand clutched the handle above her head with worry.
"No. But I'm sure as hell not used to someone driving as crazily as you Shadowlight. Look out!" she shouted as the cab sped toward a red light. Two cars sat side by side in front of them in the road.
"Aw now don't panic on me yet. I wouldn't put myself in danger after all." he replied as he pointed to a sentence written across the dashboard. 'Zen cab takes the shortest possible route to the destination safely.' read the glowing message.
She read it; then gasped when she looked up to see the wolfox hadn't slowed down at all. To her amazement the view out the dashboard went from behind the two cars to between them, then in front of them into the clear intersection. "How?" she asked surprised as she turned to see the two cars now behind them in the rear window.
"Remember, my abilities warp reality to match what is written. That glowing sentence is more than my company's slogan. It's how I get around the city quickly when I need to. The car will warp and change to fit into, out of, and around available spaces to make sure that sentence comes to pass once my powers take hold of it." he explained.
Bunny Hop had never ridden in Shadowlight's cab with his abilities active. She didn't know he could use his abilities like this. "That's cool and all, but I still don't understand why I couldn't just 'hop' us over there." she replied.
"You said yourself that time is of the essence. The slave auction is happening in twenty minutes. The police won't get there in time. We will, and we'll need a vehicle to get away in. You can't get everyone out and away by yourself." he said.
"Yeah but..."
"Stop sulking. You'd have had to wait for me to get there with my cab anyway. We'll be there in a couple minutes." he said comfortingly.
***
A few moments later the duo appeared on the roof of a five story building overlooking a large warehouse by the docks. The rain had stopped, and Shadowlight’s fluffy tail flowed behind him in the wind. The tip of it resembled an old fountain pen. He wore a simple shirt and pants with shoulder and knee pads and a visor over his eyes. He pulled the fedora on his head down against the wind; tucked into the ribbon of which sat a green notebook. On his chest was his symbol, a yin-yang with markings like his tail in both colors. Bunny Hop wore a visor of her own, and her signature star patterned skin tight jumpsuit. "Alright. Do your thing Hopper." said the wolfox male. Bunny Hop took a deep breath; happy to be out in the open air for a moment and out of his car before she disappeared in a flash. The clouds above parted and let the full moon's light shine down around the canine male. He took out his notebook and wrote down a few lines while he waited for her to return.
A few minutes later the blonde bunny appeared in front of him again. "Yep. This is the place. They're just starting to get under way. Ten girls, and Lady Sunrise is the main event. Five guards patrol the outside perimeter and another fifteen patrol inside besides the gathering of some of Victory Cities’ worst. So what's the plan?" she asked the wolfox male.
"I'm going to create a distraction by knocking out the power. You get the girls out as quickly as you can and bring them to my cab in the alley below. I'll be there waiting to get us all out while the auction participants are lost in the confusion. The police may get here before they clear out, but if not at least the girls will be safe." Shadowlight laid out.
"Sounds simple enough. If you’re going to knock out the power; how will I be able to see though?" asked Bunny Hop next.
"You'll have night vision for the duration of the mission." he answered.
"Oh. You keep night vision goggles around?" she asked.
"Who said anything about goggles?" he asked with a raised eyebrow and a smirk as he tapped the notebook nestled in his hat.
"Ah I getcha. So when do we start?" she asked eagerly.
"Whenever you're ready. Just remember, no sexy mistakes this time. Priority one is getting the girls out safely. I'll personally take care of you after okay?" he asked as he looked her over in her skin tight body suit. Bunny Hop was known for being promiscuous and has often "lost her powers" at just the right time to get caught by villains and their goons.
"Oh. So confident. I'll hold you to that foxy." she replied with a smirk of her own.
"I know you will. Looking forward to it. You ready?" he asked. She nodded her response and he took the notebook from his hat and opened it to the page he was writing on before. Multiple lines began to glow as changes in reality began to take hold.
Bunny Hop looked over the edge of the rooftop as Shadowlight began to concentrate. She could see the lights lining the outside of warehouse as well as those through the windows running along the building began to glow brighter and brighter as seconds ticked by. No doubt everyone inside the building was confused already at the change. She looked over the wolfox's shoulder and could see four lines written down on the page. 'The lights of the shipping warehouse brighten to 200 lumens.' 'All the doors of the shipping warehouse are locked until Shadowlight is out of the area.' 'The power goes out in the shipping warehouse until Shadowlight is out of the area.' and 'Bunny Hop can see in the dark.' Of those lines the first two were glowing. "Brightening the lights before taking them out blinds everyone in the building first; so even those with decent natural night vision won't be able to use it effectively at least not immediately. He even thought that through." she thought as she looked at the male now. She could see sweat drops forming on his face. Between getting them here, and all these changes at the same time; using his abilities was starting to tax him. "Gotta make it quick." she resolved.
The first line stopped glowing as the third and fourth lines began to glow to match the second. The entire warehouse went dark all of the sudden; supernaturally cut off from the electrical grid. Bunny Hop disappeared from the rooftop and left Shadowlight alone. He took a deep breath as he steadied his concentration on the lines he's already written. He wrote a new line and stepped to the edge of the building. 'Shadowlight floats safely to the ground.' He took another step, and felt gravity lightly take hold of him and pull him gently down toward his cab in the alley below. "Good luck Hopper. It's your turn." he said as he descended.
***
Bunny Hop appeared inside the warehouse and looked around. Her blue eyes glowed dimly in the pitch dark behind her visor. She could see perfectly in the pitch dark building. Everyone else was panicking. A blind fight had broken out on the auction floor. Many rich villains and their goons were either banging against the supernaturally locked doors of the warehouse trying to escape, or fighting amongst themselves blaming each other for the turn of events. On the stage were the ten females. All were gagged, and bound to x-frames so that their naked bodies were exposed and on full display. In front of them inside a steel cage was Lady Sunrise. The nine tailed kitsune swordswoman was nude on her knees, and bound as well with her hands behind her back. A hypno visor sat over her eyes projecting colors into her unfocused orbs. Seemed whoever had caught her wanted to leave her half tamed for her buyer to finish personally. Not the most effective way to get top dollar for a captured heroine, but a quick way for a low level slaver to get a decent sum and offload her before they're caught. She would be sold first, and would hype the crowd up for the civilians to follow. If she was sold here there’s no telling where she would be taken next.
Bunny Hop 'hopped' over to the first of the x-frames. She looked around the frame, but couldn't find the key for it. It could be anywhere in the building, and on anyone on stage or backstage. "Only one option then." she thought as she grabbed onto the frame and disappeared with it, and its current occupant.
***
Shadowlight heard the telltale sound of Bunny Hop landing near his cab and turned surprised to see her with a full x-frame in tow. "What happened?" he asked confused.
"No time to look for the keys. Can you get her out of it?" she asked.
"Yes. Sure." he replied.
"Good. I'm going to go back and get the others. I'll bring them here as I get them." she announced as she disappeared again.
A moment later she appeared with another frame. Another moment, another frame. Before long she had all ten lining the alley. The girls were looking around confused, but seemed to be relieved that they were off the auction stage at least. Bunny Hop appeared with Lady Sunrise last. The lapine heroine was panting heavily. All the 'hopping' with heavy objects had obviously taken a lot out of her. "That's…all of them." she said through her heavy breaths. Shadowlight took this as his cue and wrote a quick line in the air with his tail. 'All bondage devices in the alley unlock.' Loud metallic clicking sounds echoed off of the alley walls as all the girls were instantly freed.
Shadowlight opened the door of his cab and motioned for everyone to enter. "Everyone in. Don't worry there's room for everyone." he declared. The girls looked at each other confused, but stepped forward anyway. When they reached the cab they were surprised to see that the inside of the car was indeed bigger than it looked to be from the outside. Though the car was a sedan; there was plenty of room for all of them and it resembled a stretch limo once inside. There was also an oversized t-shirt for each of them to cover their modesty. "Hopper, you tend to Lady Sunrise. I'll get us to the Lady league Headquarters as quickly as I can." he said as the lapine heroine helped the semi out of it kitsune to step into the car.
"You're not going to use your power to drive as crazily as you did earlier are you? I don't think these girls can handle that right now." she chidded seriously.
"No. I'll be driving normally. After everything, keeping the car big enough to hold everyone is about all I can do right now." he answered. Bunny Hop nodded her response as she bent to step into the car before straightening at the feeling of a pinch to her right ass cheek. "Besides. Gotta save some energy for later don't I? Good job in there Hopper." he said with a smirk. Bunny Hop returned his smirk as she stepped into the car next. He was right. They had done a good job. And she was now looking forward to the reward she'd get from him once the rescue was officially finished.
Shadowlight sat in the drivers seat of his cab and checked over the notes in his notebook one last time as he turned the key in the ignition. The only lines still glowing were the one about the power to the warehouse, the doors remaining locked, and the car being big enough to fit fifteen people in the backseat. He could hear police sirens approaching in the distance and sighed in satisfaction. They could handle the cleanup. For now getting the girls to safety was the priority. He put the car in gear and drove off into the night.
Shadowlight strives to be a good ally to the Lady League. So he answers when they call on him for help. Time was of the essence this time to prevent a captured ally from being auctioned off and he came through in that pinch. And it seems he'll get a little reward for his efforts in the end.

Thanks. I thought so too which is why I figured he might fit easily into the world without being too much.
It also allows me to explore and play with his powers a lot more than normal because the idea of superpowers is normal in that world and not something he would have to hide like in the cannon world.
