Sometimes, Haloren likes to patrol the forest he and his sister call home. This territory, the Verdandi Forest, far removed from most civilization, rarely has need for such, and the felkin uses it as an excuse to entertain himself, or satisfy idle curiosities. In some cases, however, Halo *does* stumble upon some untoward individual, who knowingly or unknowingly, made the error of intruding upon their territory without proper introduction. Of course, the felkin's generally gracious enough to still accept an offering to make amends... though sometimes he takes it upon himself to decide what form that offering takes.

In this particular case? Well, apparently either Lycan made a poor introduction, or the felk was feeling rather empty. Regardless of the initial reason, Haloren's solved the latter problem until a suitable meal can be found, and perhaps Lycan's received a lesson in manners to put to use later!
