To your question I have to answer that I have no idea whatsoever XD
I had a little reference (A6 maxium) to see how the thick cloth would go and that's about it since I tend to forget about the refenrence picture once I've seen it once or twice, and I don't remember if there was any mention about the coat style anyway ^^;;...it could be Georgian *nods*

That was a quickie, really coloured it in a 2 hours max. 2½, but i guess it doesn't seem that horribly done in a flash...I just really hate using mouse and want to get rid of the piece I'm clouring as quick as possible...plus I'm pften afraid that I might ruin the picture with too many details added on the bg... ^___^;;;

I agree to that, and he seems rather pleased/certain/proud of himself...and well...he's more of a gay than hetero at the moment at least....Though I guess he'lll get a woman and creates a family around him if he'd ever brake up with Haru...and the scariest thing is that I bet kaine would be wonderful father O_____o...

Well, why not?
He never had a father, nor actually a mother either, except during the first 6 years before his right eye was pierced with scissors, and I doubt he had a happy childhood overall.
So of course he wouldn't want his own children to have a childhood such as his was, no, he'd do anything he could to make those children happy even when he wouldn't be capable of everything 'cause of the lack of eyesight...
Though Kaine acts and seems really tough most of the time he has his own softer side for some things..and he genuinely hates his childhood...

Kaine is the kind of person who deals with other people by means of violence. Bare fists, lead pipes... Based on what I know I don't suppose he'd be able to treat his children otherwise, unless some kind of a major spiritual change would take place in his life. And even then, would he have any idea of what a child needs?
At the moment Kaine isn't exactly punching theets out of Darrol, and he merely punched Buva once XD...plus at times, (usually if it favours him any possible way at the time or in future), he can be very concerned and comfortable for others...
I doubt that spiritual part highly, mostly because that guy has no faith in higher powers.
But I do think he'd know what a child would need; things such as caring, trusting, patience, listening, food, family, time, boundaries, when older a little bit of cash to spend etc. and all just because he had very little of those in his own childhood, 'xcept that cash which he had a lot and still does...
....I'm happy to say/think he won't be that much of a hot-head after some years have passed...he can't really afford to be if he doesn't want someone to take advantage of his blindness and come forth to take him down because of a thing he might have done week or so before caused by thoughtless act of angryness... ^^'

It's much easier for me to imagine Kaine in prison than living with a loving family of his own. You're saying that he is capable of caring for others and yet we've mostly seen him treat people like objects. Sorry hon, but you're going to have to do better than that to convince me. ^.^
Or you should read Kaine and Harus' topics more...that's the other option, really. He's been awfully nice to Haru of late and is getting softer....of course he needs to keep the tough act up in public, but if not he'd be a softie...

My point here is that a rapist can have a sweeter side, but this might not make him a good father - I'm currently not thinking of Kaine as a fictional person but a real person, so admittingly my views are a bit strict. Kaine doesn't seem to have enough emotional intellect to be able to advance through life without resorting to violence... Let alone listen to a baby who screams worth 90 decibels 24/7. But hey, who knows.
Haru screams/naggs almost worth 90 decibels 20/6 and I actually tried to count the time when he's very quiet...24 doesn't sound that much more to take XD, and as I said; it'll be a long time before that could happen so I have at least hopes/I'm quite positive that learning to be patient with Haru and to learn to live with blindness will calm Kaine for good..yup yup...
