Imagine being a soldier, sent to kill a national hero because some asshole who's probably getting the gallows now told you to.

You're in the middle of the forest watching, them you decide to light a cig to calm down a bit. Next thing you see after the smoke is not on your eyes anymore and the smell isn't blocking your nose, is that guy you supposedly should be after to kill, right in front of you, about to disenbowel your sorry ass.

Yeah, let's hope that soldier was on day on whatever religions he follows, because he's about to get sent to the Afterlife.

You say that like soldiers are evil for obeying orders. As far as they know, Herman is the target and he is the enemy they must find and kill. They were supposed to get their orders rescinded but that will not happen soon enough.

Too bad the military is not an adventurer's club where everyone can just do whatever. Maybe then these soldiers could selectively choose to obey orders or not. But then they wouldn't be soldiers, would they, and the D-bag that ordered them out there would not be for kibble?

I am not going to argue with you. But I did say "say that like..." The implication being that you did not say "Soldiers are evil". However it is an easy inference to your comment.

well consdiering he doesnt have the gun in his hands, im pretty sure hes gonna die, hopefully it hits the throat so he wont yell and alert the others. that or if they are alrerted the rat can take the gun off him quick enough to mow them down
