Made this for curry night, yummy!
************
AP Flour 2 c.
Active Dry Yeast 1 tsp.
Sugar 1 tsp.
Salt 1 tsp.
Baking Soda 1/8 tsp.
Vegetable or Canola Oil 2 Tbsp.
Plain Yogurt 2 ½ Tbsp.
Luke-warm Water ¾ c.
************
1. Combine the water, yeast and sugar in a small bowl and stir to dissolve. Set aside
2. In a larger work bowl, combine the flour, salt, and baking soda.
3. Add the yeast mixture along with the oil and yogurt to the dry ingredients and mix into a dough.
4. Knead for 1-2 minutes and then rest for 3-4 hours.
5. Divide dough into 6 equal portions and roll into balls.
6. Roll out to ¼ inch thickness and cook. Can be baked in a 500 degree oven or on the stovetop. I used a cast iron comal (smooth flat griddle, usually round)
