Been itching for a kobold OC and with the help of
B-oop I finally got one hammered out; meet Skour, in a less than dignified state.
Skour was purchased from a slave caravan by one currently unnamed wizard who needed help not only with managing and sorting his vast collection of tomes and scrolls but also needed a being fluent in Draconic for more esoteric projects and finds. Skour was only loosely grasping Common at the time but the wizard was able to teach him fairly quickly and he turned out to be quite clever for his age and race, at least to the wizard's reckoning.
Although Skour was still a slave he was still treated quite well. In lieu of typical bindings or shackles Skour was given to wear a golden collar which shrunk around his neck as well as enchanted to make it difficult to remove, but does no harm other than make his whereabouts easily detectable. The golden bracelets around his wrists and ankles serve as potential magical reinforcements but thus far have never been needed, and Skour as a common kobold doesn't mind wearing extra 'jewelry' as it feels like an additional level of prestige for this station.
As for this particular situation he finds himself in, I can imagine it's from reading a scroll he shouldn't have, and the resulting cherubs foisting the little kobold by his petard. A little young to be handling such magics he's being put into his place they seek to make sure he's reminded of that. Here's to hoping this doesn't mesh with the other binding magics for a more... permanent effect.
