A regal god and once highly revered warrior and king, it is said his love for a human set of a string if events leading to the death if his whole race and lover.
While the events of what truly led to the demise of his people and the humans coexisting with them is shrouded in mystery, it is lead to believe a jealous mermaid's hands were involved in the tragedy.
He has lost his gift for singing due to the loss of his previous mate's death, and will continue to lack this ability until he can let go of his grief.
He is 100% a carnivore and will eat anything and everything with the exception of humans.
He is outwardly prejudice against mermaids and will eat or kill them unbiased without reason, or provoking.
While elusive and weary he is somewhat fond of humans, even going out of his way to save one from drowning, or scaring sharks away.
He finds humans frail and even delicate and may or may not even dot on them, in the rare cases he bonds with some.
Cunning and powerful, this siren will destroy you and your boat if you so much as slap a baby seal.
Usually calculating and cold, and stand offish, and domineering, often possessive and overly controlling of things he holds dear.
He is equally cocky and outwardly snobbish, to any one or thing, bull headed and often unreasonable to the point of childishness.
He avoids growing attached to living creatures as death is not a constant for a siren, he commonly worries about loosing those who have earned his trust and it manifests as him being a controlling dick.
He does have a sense of humour, he will lure you to the water's edge and throw rotten fish on you, or yank you in while your showing off your new suit.
He's a lonely bean who's afraid to get attached, which makes. Him a little touch starved, so he will allow snuggles...but they wont finish till his ready to let you go, and yes he purrs like a motor!
He is capable of shedding his fins but doing so makes him vulnerable and mortal until he changes back!.
