we all encounter stupid comments. but I am glad to see someone putting something like this up. i always enjoy someone of the same mindset of "take your shitheaded opinion else wear and tell someone who gives a fuck" it's just a shame you see so many of these ignorant retards through the fandom so much
So apparently the reason you put this up is that someone found you uploading images of a pedophilic nature to this site, and pointed it out to you that it is against the AUP. You claim that said people are ignorant. Let me just haul up the definition of ignorant for you..

You may think they are mean, you may not like what they are saying, but this is no way suggests that they are wrong, or ignorant. Are they out to get you? Not my call. The images seem to have been taken down so I'm guessing that dispute did not go in your favor, eh? Not looking or listening to the AUP and arguing with, and then on top of that making an offensive image that has nothing to do with art and is borderline against the AUP itself would seem to suggest the ignorant party is you.

What you do in the privacy of your own home is YOUR business. The moment you upload it to a public site like FA, it becomes EVERYONE's Business. FA is not your personal playground, nor is it photobucket or myspace. You want a place to upload shit where people won't complain? Get your own private space or find somewhere more accomodating to your particular interests. YOU do not make the rules here. The owner('Neer) and his designates do and it'd be in your best interests to follow them. You can block as many people as you like, you can block me after I'm done, that doesn't you in the right. If something goes against the rules of this place, it can still be trouble ticketed without a response or friendly warning posted here. Nor does it make the people who replied here going "Hurray, fuck you haters!" right either.
To avoid being entirely negative: On the plus side you do have pretty good talent for drawing, though I wish some of the subject material was different. That's a personal pref though. So long as you keep within what this site allows I don't really see any further problems.

I highly doubt anyone on FA is going to insult you for having pictures of a sexual nature involving other characters on here, as a good chunk of art uploaded here is just that. I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say you're a reeeaaaaaallly sensitive type. I could take the small comment about the "Pedo-esque" submissions you made, as quoted from the guy who mentioned it.
My advice to you would be to chill and learn to take the criticisms with the compliments, and think about what you're saying or doing before you go ahead and do it.

Out of curiosity, what exactly are you qualifying as being pedophilic in nature? While the majority of his pictures tend to depict slender, effeminate males, this does not mean that they are underage, merely that they aren't drawn with standard masculine anatomy. This is a stylistic and artistic choice to make them cute and girly, which commonly results in a youthful appearance as a side effect. If this qualifies all art depicting girly boys as pedophilia trying to slip under the radar, I expect that you have filed the same complaints of AUP violation against

There are a number of artists who maintain something of a "don't like, don't look" policy, as nobody is forcing anyone to look at things, and there are more constructive things people can do than find things they don't like, look at them even though there is nothing making them do so, then type up a comment about how much they hate it in a rude and insulting manner. It follows a rule of etiquette commonly taught to children in grade school then usually ignored by almost everyone.

If they're going to demand it is their right to upload whatever they want, then they have to also accept that it is equally the right of the general public to not like what is uploaded, and say so. Its a give and take relationship. You can't have your cake and eat it.
Yes, you can upload your art, but to then demand that not only are you given this right, but also the right to have no negativity sent your way at all is a bit childish.

Very true, there are many situations where it is preferable by far to say something that isn't nice rather than nothing at all. However, there are many situations where it accomplishes absolutely nothing other than being a jerk. Everyone has the right to speak their mind, but in doing so should still maintain basic human decency.
What I was talking about is more people who do things like click on a picture with a warning thumbnail specifically to inform the poster that they hate whatever the thumbnail warned about and that the poster shouldn't draw it, which accomplishes absolutely nothing whatsoever. Imagine that someone who doesn't like rats happens across your page, reads "Much of my art is rat related" or whatever it was, then proceeds to go through and comment on every picture that is rat related on how rats are evil, why you shouldn't draw them, and perhaps how you suck and should kill yourself. That's a rather extreme example, but I'm fairly certain I've come across instances of that sort of thing happening. It doesn't do anything useful, it won't make you stop drawing rats if you enjoy doing so, it's annoying, and could have been completely avoided by the person simply going "I do not like this subject matter, therefore I choose not to look at it."
When they get to the point of bringing a mob with them, creating extra accounts for the purpose of making personal attacks, spreading lies and slandering you, convincing people who don't know you and have never talked to you to come and attack you for things they were told that aren't true, and possibly then going and doing this to anyone that they think you might talk to, there isn't a whole lot that can be done to defend such dickery. But I think when something is actually controversial or politically incorrect, like cub art is, you have to tolerate people expressing their dislike of it; some folk are really very offended by that. Yes, as long as people are polite it isn't really a problem, particularly if it actually is a valid complaint, such as stating a dislike for cub art on a picture of cub art. Telling someone they are terrible and violation of the rules with all of their uploads when in fact they don't have a single violating upload, however, is just annoying. As for the rat example, I've seen things like it happen, though to a slightly less absurd degree.
Polite, intelligent discussion is never really a bad thing, the problem comes from the people who lack understanding of the concept of politeness, discussion, or intelligence. Due to this being the internet, intelligence and decency are regularly abandoned by people when they no longer have the threat of getting the crap beat out of them for being an asshat looming over them.

I once replied to a journal someone posted that was a big overly dramatic "I'm busy and I've got art block SO I MUST LEAVE THIS PLACE FOREVER FOR I AM UNWORTHY" kind of thing, and got flamingly (ie, in the style of something from a flame war) white-knighted upon for being a tad sarcastic with my "this is needlessly dramatic, you have other options" reply. I responded politely and explained my intention for my initial reply in a calm and collected manner, and the guy responded politely and apologized for making personal attacks. I was pleasantly surprised that polite discussion could still actually accomplish things.
Sadly we live in a world of reality shows, soap operas, and tabloid magazines, where the slightest thing is magnified into a drama storm of massive proportions, and this has probably had the unfortunate effect of spilling over into actual life. I qualify it with "probably" because not having been around since before such things existed, I can't say for certain that they are the cause or even that it's any worse now than it used to be. However, in a world where the media has such an influence on things beyond the realm of media, it seems like it could be a logical cause. There are other, more cynical possible causes, but I won't go into those.
