Hey there beans! I realize that i have neglected to post a couple of commissions that i've already finished, dreadfully sorry about that. Sad to say my mental health has not been the best as of late so my head has been elsewhere. not any pleasant places like a forest full of golden light- It's more like a dark hole with lots of things crawling everywhere and very damp and cold and unpleasant... *claps hands* anyways! That is why i hadn't tossed up this piece until just now!! Much apologies, I am trying to pull my head out of that place and will try to do better about being timely with my postings.

the symbol in the back has been changed appropriately for him to be more representative of his beliefs.
This was a joy to work on although i have to say the outfit gave me juuuuust a bit of trouble- *clutches fist and shakes it angrily in a cartoonish fashion* pinstripes!!!!!!! the bane of my existence.... You can barely even see them in the finished piece since i was trying to stick decently to the reference but i think it came out very well! Gotta say, it feels real nice seeing some men supporting the message of consent, too. All in all i'm very happy with how this came out. Thank you for getting this piece done!

Bodily autonomy and respect for the consent of others is a bigpoint of order for Ahriman. We've had so many talks about the issue, the way people treat it like a joke really pisses him right off. So many of the artists you encounter, the way they fetishize the violation of another person's body for a buck. It's pretty disgusting, to say it lightly. I'm pretty sure when he sees this posting, he'll likely tell you himself, two in the head is letting rapists off easy. There's really no punishment to fit a crime which robs someone of ever feeling safe in their own skin, possibly for the rest of their life.

What I've gotten to see of Ahriman, he's a pretty solid man with some actual iron behind the words on the screen. There's not enough of those in this fight.
Too many of these kids treat this like it's one of their goddamn manga-jack-off magazines- every woman is just a thing to shove their little worm in and if she ain't hot, she don't matter. "IT'S JuSt AWrt!" and all that bullshit. Bad enough when it's just some underage dipsht on the internet but when it's someone old enough to fucking know better it's a fucking embarrassment. Say that shit when you have the balls to post up a pic of black people being whipped and lynched if you seriously believe it, fucking liars.

It's NEVER "jUsT aRT" and they know it and that so many of them know better and still act like that really is just embarrassing and disgusting- the world doesn't revolve around your dick. Truly they oughta be ashamed to be acting like that.
I love this, I can't really say how much I love this piece. I know your pain when it comes to pinstripes or *shudder* plaid. As Ashley posted herself, I have a serious problem with rapists and rape culture, it's not okay, it's not a joke, it is most definitely not someone being "too sensitive". Victimization, even just being the target of sexual harrassment leaves a mark on a person, one that never goes away, and never really gets easier to deal with.

I fully agree with that wholeheartedly. it's really just absolutely disgusting how it's so normalized and glorified, even, by the media and the people. It's NOT a joke, a thrill, or a thing to blame the victim for. It's a violation of one's own body and safety and it's despicable. As you said, even just sexual harassment can affect one for their entire life and leaves a mark that will never fully be gone.
as an addendum I want to say I really appreciate your support for the piece and the message more than I can properly say. It means a lot to see men who are willing to speak up about it considering a lot of them are either apathetic, too scared to say anything because they know people Like That who are friends, or are straight up the people Like That, so a very big hearty thank you for adding your voice to this project!
