Verace peered out over the obsidian spikes and spires of the Submucosa Peaks, his arms crossed as the hexagonal rings signifying his spawn faded around him. The battle instance spanned far and the spawns were random, you couldn't be sure where your opponent would appear when they stepped out of the cable car. "Well, I guess I gotta find him now..." The foxish looking out from his spawn on a flat area moderately high above the ground level. "And he could be anywhere!"
"Like right behind you!"
Verace froze as he heard the words that weren't his own echo briefly against the sheer surfaces.
"Ah!"
Turning his head to look and hope that for once his ears were wrong, his heart sank as he suddenly saw the Time Sweeper.
"PAUSE!"
Verace froze up as he realized that the luck of the spawn had placed him mere meters from his opponent. Frostcat had simply slunk up behind him as the foxish formulated his plan, opting to unleash a time power while the foxish was caught off guard...
