sunflowers represent death and life after death in many cultures- as they face the sun only when its at its brightest and highest and wilt and close up when the sun is gone- they tend to be rather dark almost- and in the past lots of churches used them for offerings during funerals- they represent longevity loyalty and devotion and through the lifetime of the sunflower go through various stages of decay as a reminder of life- and death and its inevitability - and i just reallly like sunflowers - its about the only bright colorful thing in life that i find pretty XD
