SHIFT 009: Eternal Equinox
It's been a long time too long. I can not apologize enough about the year long hiatus this series had. I appreciate everyone who stuck with me during the absence of this series, and I understand for everyone who didn't. I know a couple of you in this episode are no longer patrons, but you were when the series started and so I felt deserved to be here when it finished.
And the series is finished. After discussing it on patreon and discord, I've decided to replace the SHIFT reward with a different project, one that should be a little easier for me to keep going as well as allows for more variety in plotlines. Expect updates on that within the next few days, but the new $5 Patreon tier is going to be Switch City stories. More details on that later.
For now, it's been one year since our heroes vanished, forced into contracts with the faerie queens of summer and winter. They've been separated into teams of four, and are forced to fight each other from sunup to sunset. Until one side finally claims victory, the battle will never end, and our heroes have been stuck fighting this war for the faeries' game for over a year now.
But... An opportunity presents itself, and they may have a way to break the cycle and escape, or they may wind up as the faeries' playthings forever.
