Vurga! Captain of the Lock Away! A daring space pirate with a fearsome reputation, an adorable body and an appetite rivaling a black hole. Greedy, possessive, affectionate and gluttonous, he'll be the friendliest thing to ever steal you all away.

Vurga looks something like a golden bunny, but with some key differences. He almost looks like a cartoon creature of some sort, with his large body, short, thick limbs and large head. But he's very real. He's usually short, a little smaller than the average human adult (not counting his long ears), but some claim they've seen him at much larger sizes. His pair of long, pierced ears are completely prehensile and as strong as his arms. On the topic of strength, Vurga is far, far stronger than he looks. His kind comes from a high gravity planet, leaving him with very dense, advanced muscles. The most obvious sign that he's not a true rabbit comes from his long, otter-like tail. With golden fur, a 'mustache' of whiskers and a smile that's near-always present, Vurga usually looks harmless, despite his rather punk-ish clothing.

But Vurga isn't harmless. He's a space pirate. With a highly modified industrial hauler, he's a terror of the shipping lanes, disabling ships and stealing both cargo and crew. Vurga doesn't like to think of himself as a 'bad guy' though. Really, he's just trying to make a living in alternative acquisitions! It's just advanced sharing! Vurga tries to be nice about it. But then again, he's both strong and hungry enough to be beyond consequence most of the time. Troublemakers are either tossed out of the way or tossed down the hatch.

And boy, Vurga can eat. His tummy tends to be a little bit hammerspace, only bulging out slightly after he eats a meal. He may be smaller than a human, but he can pack dozens into that golden gut before it's big enough to hinder his movement. But the scary part isn't how many people Vurga can shove down his throat. It's how many people will willingly let him guzzle them away.

When Vurga wants to be, he is affection incarnate. More than once, a terrified crew member has been soothed into submission by arms and ears cocooning them into a warm, squishy hug. He'll kiss them, snuggle them and tell them how much he just wants to keep them safe. Kisses turn to suckles...and by the time they realize his kiss has spread over their head, that warm tongue is just too pleasant to resist anyway. Vurga knows just where to rub, where to lick and how to churrl to soothe his snacks. He adores making his prey feel wanted and loved. And it isn't a lie. Vurga just wants everyone he loves snuggled away inside of him.

After being eaten, Vurga's meals are absorbed. But it doesn't 'end' for them. He keeps their souls in the tummy fat that they've become. He lets them see and hear through his eyes and ears, little passengers all safe and cozy inside of him. They're surrounded by the warmth and squish, safe from the mean, awful galaxy outside. It's a blissful existence...but there's no escape. Vurga never gives his friends back.

Of course, Vurga isn't above an unwilling meal. When he wants someone, 'no' isn't an answer. He's certain that every meal makes him a little bit softer and more wonderful. Each soul is a battery to fuel him forever. No matter what a prey's life may be, he's sure that an eternity in his tummy is not only safer and more comfortable, but is a far better use of their existence. After all, everyone wants to be a pirate, right?

Vurga has arrived. It's a pirate's life for him...and if he gets his hands (or ears) on you, you'll be living a pirate's life too. His life, to be specific.
