ART & STORY BY:

"Brother, can I ask you something?"
"What is it, Winry."
"You're older than me. Why do you still wear diapers?"
"'Cuz I want to. Go away."
"Mommy said diapers are for babies and training pants are for big kids."
"Yeah, Mommy says a lot of things. She said I was going to be an only child, too."
FUN FACTS:
Frisky made a great story with very few words, which is something I am not quite so good at. *Blush* So, instead of a story, how about some fun facts that are both of fiction and reality?
1: My younger sister has, more than once, been referred to as the 'elder sibling'
2: RL Winry destroyed me in getting potty trained. She is frequently quoted, by my mother, as continuously shouting, "Diapers off!" while I, on the other hand, am remembered for being good with #1 but being hard to stop making #2 for a notable period of time.
3: Winry and Yosh having taken on more from one parent than another is representative of how truly different the lives of my younger sister and I have been. Of course being that we were both born with a 'noticeable defect' but with very different personalities, talents, trials, and successes.
4: I always wanted a family while my sister did not. Flynn, when he proposed to her, had to block all possibilities of escape so she would even give him the opportunity to propose. Neither Winry, or Flynn, ever wanted children. However, Winry has an additional birth defect of having no iris. The chance of passing Glaucoma onto a newborn, with Tina and I, was 4%. Due to never having an iris in her eyes, Winry's condition of being born without one has a 50% chance of being granted to the baby on top of the, at minimal, 4% chance of giving the baby Glaucoma.
5: Winry is often tapped to do projects and presentations. She is not keen on being in front of an audience and I often joke with her that I'd be more than happy to do a presentation in her place.
6: Winry was a very talented artist who, before having cataract surgery before Age 20, was very highly recognized for her artistic talents with making ANSI / .ANS files that we frequently changed on our local, dial-in, Bulletin Board Service (BBS). Sadly, after the cataract surgery, Winry lost interest in doing art despite, even to this day, her 'good days' grant her vision I used very efficiently until my cataract and Glaucoma surgery in 2006.
7: There was a span of time between my 7th and 10th grade years where winry and I were very close. We would spend weekends either sleeping on the couch bed so we could stay up late watching TV, or we'd gather a bunch of blankets and make a bed in front of the TV and watch fun shows. I made it a point to own a select series of movies on DVD during college as a reminder of those times.

This is cute - he did a good job drawing them both and making them look cute. Yosh loves his diapers! I think Winry is wearing pull-ups? I don't know diaper stuff well enough haha, I think it says "pool ups" - oh and hey, her shirt has the warning logo for that Untitled Goose Game as well. They are a pesky bird hero! You both look cute with lots of leggy showing.
Thanks for taking a Pika at this piece, Oxnard. After all the storytelling of Yosh and Winry lately, I figured a picture summing it all up would be worthwhile. Moreover is how I know Frisky to have a very wity, cartoon style to his works. :)
And yes, Winry is in her training pants / Pull-Ups while older brother, Yosh, is wrapped in his pillowy-pamps.
TThis picture also gave me a chance to share how Winry and Yosh are a reflection of my sister and I in real life. Since Frisky wrote a great story with this work, I kept it and then just wrote some 'fun facts' about how Yosh and Winry are like RL me and RL her.

Heck I love this pic and the humour behind it, I think I have to agree that Frisky is good with that sorta witty aspect in his pics. The way he draws too reflects on that, whilst using a cute cartoony aspect but with a bit of sharpness in them (does that make sense? I dunno)
Bottom line, he makes some really cute art n.n
I'm waiting on my commission too! I'm sure it'll be worth the wait x3 I went with a similar direction and used a character and scenario that'll reflect on what he normally draws, I like to try and stay in the comfort zone when commissioning artists >.<

Oh, what you say makes total sense. It's what made me look for Frisky when I first joined FA many years ago. You could say I was a 'silent follower' from finding his works on DA and discovering FA.
There are very few artists that, upon just seeing a thumbnail, you know who did it. Frisky is one of those. (Being 100% blind stinks like an overused diaper. Howevermy memory of his style, plus his description for me, makes my imagination see the wonderful portrayal that only he can do.)
I look forward to getting to check out what Frisky does for you. Also, if you don't mind, could you give me a slight description of what your pic is about? It'll help my imagination to 'see' it. :)

Totally agree, he really does have a memorable style. In fact I remember seeing his art a really long time ago and after seeing it again, it struck familiarity. Thats when I started following him here x3
And sure! I'll be happy too! n.n
Ive asked for a pic of my dragon for when he is a teen, he's a blue space dragon with green wings and a light/dark shades of purple hair (as well has a puff of fur on his chest and tail too x3) He has pointed out ears and a bit snout! (He's also a little... *ahem*... big in the tummy area. Oh! And he has a moon crescent tattoo around his eye, black horns and a spike strap around his tail (Those are added details to resemble his teen self, bit of an edgy phase >w<)
https://www.furaffinity.net/view/35543679/
He may sound bad but he's a huge softie as he always was no matter how much of an act he tries to pull n.n
In the pic he is shown adjusting his diaper trying to get comfy in it with a irritated expression (and yet blushing) and he say's whoever is looking "I'm perfectly potty trained so don't you *dare* judge..."
A wet alt is planned too, just to add it on a bit x3
I hope that was okay! I'm sorry if I went overboard on the details >.<

Actually, I love the details you shared and really see your character as one I would like to get to know more. :)
So, after I follow the link you shared, I'll be following you and will see what makes your character so delightful.
*Blush* When I was a teen, I wanted to wear diapers, too. So, with this picture I am going to look at, I am reminded of how, if I were not living in a small-minded small town most of my life, I would have found someone to help me get some Pamps to just wear as, well, they are so comfy and, especially now that I have no eyesight, combine the textures of the padding based on stages of use with the lavender baby powder and, well, I can shut my mind off for a bit asI have nothing to worry about except for being comfy, cozy, and safe. :)

Aww well that sounds delightful x3 Its certainly nice to imagine ^v^
I'm happy that you liked the detailed description! Again, I'm excited to see the commission when it all finished x3 I do plan for Asher to eventually get out of the phase, its just havent been easy on him since he's been wearing diapers a lot longer than expected so it definitely caught up with him when older (oops) He normally is super kind but its hard when people tend to question about it (or even make fun of him) So he takes the opportunity of his grown form and makes himself he's more capable of then he looks. This would work of course but he will show his true colours when around the right people to care for him x3
Thank you tons for the watch! I'm really glad you're interested in what I do x3

The thanks are to you. You flesh out Asher with a very noticeable passion that only comes from someone who has a genuine connection with their character and how their character(s) interact with others.
I shall definitely enjoy Asher's journey now that I've jumped aboard for the journey of such an interesting character as he navigates life given his situation and how, as a teen, such a situation is prone to others doing all they can to 'shame', 'bully', and 'degrade' him for being 'different'. (Man, as I write, it reminds me of my Jr. High and High School years. Though, for Asher, I am believing things will turn out a whole lot better as he finishes school.)

Somehow, I can feel your jealousy almost as if it were my own. I wonder if your sister got an easier time for being a girl. Does it seem that girls with limitations tend to get more care?
I feel as if I would rather be a woman than a weak man. Could this be the ultimate reason you feel more like a girl?

Oh, how I do envy my sister. Especially since, even now, her 'good days' would allow her to play video games, read manuals with accessible tech, and a whole bunch of other awesome things. However she just didn't feel like doing art after the cataract surgery and, rarely, enjoys a good video game. :(
As my sight diminished, I gave her the expensive adaptive tools I used to try and still function as highly as possible. One such item was a 'literal' pair of rose tinted glasses. (These glasses were tinted this way with a 6x magnification to compensate for the amount of 'fog' and extremely poor sight towards the end. ([I]To even try a video game in my final years, I needed a special pair of glasses that had a 26x convex lens in the right eye. Even then, I struggled.)
Interestingly, and I think she still feels this, Winry perceives me as the favored child. *Shrugs* If 'favored' means dealing with discrimination, having a very unique 'kink', never having a career despite possessing a Masters degree, 50+ procedures on my right eye alone, … as being 'favored' then, well, by all means. *Shrugs*
Today I had a talk with my ex, as we do get along, about how 'gendar' is more of a construct of society. This makes sense as, during development, you have no discerning features until later on in pregnancy.
Given the above, it is unfair to say anything is more 'masculine' or 'feminine' as we are each crafted in ways that make us, based on social norms, more one than the other.
Knowing how we are all created to be unique and capable of acting however we feel we should, I am breaking myself free of the shackles of 'the label' and going with how I was born male but do not care for 'male stereotypes'. Those societal stereotypes caused me a lot of emotional pain growing up in a small town. So, with Yosh, I can do and be whatever I genuinely feel as, here, judgment is not passed based on anything more than how you respect each other for who and what everyone is.

How much does your sister support you? Obviously, she cannot help you in any way that would look bad on her. I would think there is hardly anything that makes your sister jealous of you. But how much does she care about you?
I have a Master’s degree, but I still don’t have anything I can call a career yet. It’s probably just as well that I was in school for so long. My anxiety disorder at the time did not make me suitable for a proper job.
I used to think I was one of the smarter people. I mistook early development for superiority. I did not see how many people were having their growth spurts and passing me by. More fundamentally, I thought of all intelligence in terms of academics. Just because I am strong in some academic skills does not mean I am more intelligent or wise overall.
Just remember that many people without disabilities are not functionally in a better position than yours.

You truly are an amazing individual, Starburst. The more I get to know you, the more I appreciate how you have been on an ongoing mission to, like most of us, try to find your place despite the limitations placed upon you.
Something I did leave out about Winry is, because she and her husband have been in good paying jobs for over a decade, they've bailed my rump out of a number of financial bombshells. I'll never be able to pay them back. However, I do like to think that every 'oops!' made in the caring of my Glaucoma allowed doctors to not take such risky actions with her.
I still remember quite vividly when I was told I'd never see again. It was December 15th, 2016. I had seen my Glaucoma and Cornea specialist. Neither could tell me that I was done.
Then I saw the Retina doctor. He took a quick look, saw my retina detached for the 3rd time, sat back, and asked me what I could see. I told him I, for whatever reason, was still seeing the air bubble designed to keep the retina in place post repair. This is when he told me that all I was 'seeing' was a hillucination that blind people get known as "Charles Bennet ". Everything I 'saw' was just my imagination mapping out what it knew from memory.
I think the Retina doctor was worried I was going to cry, be angry, or something of that nature. However, after the year I had, I looked towards him and thanked him and all at UPMC for how they did everything possible to help me still see. I then stated how, as UPMC is a Educational Hospital System', how all I hoped for is what they gleamed from me would allow my sister to see longer in her lifetime than I did...
...She positively surpassed me on this on December 19th, 2019.
Jealous, yes. Thankful how I have helped others not go through similar issues as a result of my cycle of traumas? Definitely.

Friskywoods certainly has quite the talent for creating comical moments along with his art. It was actually refreshing to simply just use the dialogue he made over fleshing out a short story. (I had one in mind but, well, you can't beat genius)
