A school project from 2017 and 2018 involved our vocations (for my class, Drafting) making a related project based on the book "Into the Heart of the Sea" by Nathaniel Philbrick. For this we made a 3-D printed harpoon! I designed and made the head of the mount that would contain the the shaft of the blade. We intended to hang it up in our classroom after we lost to other shops in getting the prizes, it turns out the school gave it away to the New Bedford Museum of Whaling, or another whaling museum near there. So if you find a 3-D printed harpoon in the area- that's probably my classes'.
