With page 150 of Oren's Forge coming to Patreon next week, I decided to share a bit about the unhappy origins of the comic in a public post!
The post includes all the pages from the original, never-meant-to-be-seen 2013 version with side-by-side comparisons to their 2015 counterparts, plus a few things from another scrapped comic project.
Give it a read over yonder if you're keen!

I actually like the images of the old ones better, but the quality of the art in the new is obviously better, especially with the detail, colouring and shading. Your foliage is also much improved, and the lighting is more dynamic. I just love the forest encasing them in the old first panel, though, and the third one has an interesting ground-up perspective that shows how tall the canopy is and the birds high above. It gives a much greater feeling of size. The old ones weren't bad, but I see what you mean just the same. Thanks for sharing.
