I love the newer look, giving them a more vulnerable appeal. But then I'm bias in that. The last panel in the older version has a nice perspective.

Loving the new style.
Old ones isn't bad at all, but I love the slightly more realistic, more feral (though still not 100% feral) look. Makes it feel more special in this sort of comic.

I actually like the images of the old ones better, but the quality of the art in the new is obviously better, especially with the detail, colouring and shading. Your foliage is also much improved, and the lighting is more dynamic. I just love the forest encasing them in the old first panel, though, and the third one has an interesting ground-up perspective that shows how tall the canopy is and the birds high above. It gives a much greater feeling of size. The old ones weren't bad, but I see what you mean just the same. Thanks for sharing.

Definitely nothing to be embarrassed about, it's a past - all of us have it (but not everyone improves)

Oh the difference a year can make for your art style much less a few years

The last panel of the 2013 version has way more dynamic perspective for the background that makes it pop out quite a lot. The 2015 one beats it in everything else.

You are such a brave artist. This kind of transparency is inspirational!

La dernière case de la version 2013 est meilleur pour l'immersion, on se rend compte de l'immensité et la profondeur de la forêt et l'angle de vue est meilleurs également.
Pour la version 2015, le reste est meilleurs, et surtout l'evolution des personnes sont bien plus aboutie :) !

Time, maybe, since if you read the post, I was suffering from depression in 2013 when I started Oren's Forge, but I did upgrade to a Cintiq late 2014 which upped my digital game. My art prior to 2013 was objectively "better."
