Something I doodled a month or so back for the Dungeons and Dragons game I play with Auru.
Auru ended up getting touched in the heart, literally, by a fella who knew some soul magic. The person ended up configuring some of Auru's soul energy into a weapon type called a Heartbound. Their personal one is a magical staff, unlocking some deep, deep magic within Auru.

How very interesting. This sort of magic and ability interests me as, in the time I played, nothing of its sort was even touched on beyond what a Psion could do.
Would this be a kind of 'level up' moment for Auru? This serving as a time to change his Class, modify stats, and/or something of that nature?

I used to draw during D&D sessions. It was fun trying to find a moment that you wanted to capture for how pivotal, meaningful, silly, and/or fun it was for you and your character.
I'm glad you share Auru with us, Plinkers. I looked into ways to play D&D online and, in the end, I can't do it as I never know when my son will be with me and not his mother. I need to make myself available to him and, as such, will need to wait awhile longer before I can genuinely pursue an online 'game night'. :(
Hopefully you do not mind me vicariously enjoying the adventures of auru. What you do in these posts brings me back to great memories as new ones are made, too. :)

To be fair, this is a homebrew thing that my boyfriend made. Not so much a class change as them getting a magical item that'll grow with them a bit. Currently they can cast “gust” and “striding and springing”. It fits well with their nature of desiring flight coupled with their ability to be fast and agile.
Honestly the whole thing gave them a level of exhaustion more or less, rather than leveling up. But they can use the staff to make a magic happen, which is fun for them.

I draw during my D&D sessions too, though if I’m into the game I don’t always do art as I’m too focused. I don’t mind you enjoying the adventures of Auru. It actually makes me quite happy to share these and know people like them.

I'm glad others enjoy the ongoing adventures of Auru. They are quite a character who has a life in which can translate well into inspiration for those who are able to relate to their situation.
I had thought my ex-wife was my Rosen. However, with reflection, I see how I was blind in more than one way. Fortunately, in 2008, I did meet someone here who has been a wonderful Rosen and, as I further learn my abilities, I know, as Auru does, life will just keep getting better as self-esteem and self-acceptance grow.
